The documentation lists some basics regarding the footer, but I can’t see what widget you used for the main single-page footer in the demo where it says “Join The Conversation” and then displays the social media icons. The only widget that I found with social media just says the words “Facebook” “Twitter” etc without displaying the icons.

If you could help me understand how you got the footer looking that way it would be much appreciated!

This is the footer I am referring to: http://i.imgur.com/ulzHInQ.png

The way you accomplish is –

    1) Go to theme options -> Footer tab and change the dropdown value of the option “Footer Columns” to value 1.

    2) Go to Appearances->Widgets and then drag a text widget to the widget area named Footer Widget Area One and input the following code –

    [wrap class="center"]
    [heading2 title="Join the conversation"][social_list facebook_url="#" youtube_url="#" twitter_url="#" linkedin_url="#" googleplus_url="#" include_rss="false" align="center"]
    [/wrap]

If you still have trouble, pls post a private message here with a temp login to your site. Thanks
